The Firearm Training Manual will assist you in your preparation for the written test as part of your application or re-certification of your Firearm Licence. Specifically, it only provides information about legal firearm ownership and use in Jamaica, general technical aspects of firearms, firearm safety and personal welfare.

The information contained here represents the minimum knowledge requirements that prospective and current firearm holders in Jamaica are expected to have if they are to own and safely use their firearm. (Of course, you are also encouraged to seek out and get as much supplemental training as possible from qualified sources.)
